Socialite Jack Pemba, who was some time back linked to singers Desire Luzinda and Angela Katatumba, is nowadays worryingly close with struggling singer Leila Kayondo.
Leila, who has spent a long time without releasing any hit song, is said to be too tight with Pemba these days that some of her pals have started gossiping about how she could be eating his Banana.
The two have for the past few months been spotted at various hangouts in Kampala, either enjoying breakfast or lunch and Leila tells pals that she often goes to gym with Pemba.
Their closeness has left many of Leila’s pals convinced that there is surely something going on between her and Pemba.
A few years ago when Pemba, who hails from Tanzania but keeps traversing the East African region, was at the helm of popularity he was known for splashing money around city bars and would always move with a bevy of babes.
It was then that he reportedly enjoyed steamy rendezvous with Desire and Angella, one after the other, although their flings never lasted, due to excessive pressure from his wife Sheba Kassami.
Pemba disappeared from the social scene last year after city tycoon Godfrey Kirumira seized his luxury cars and house property for failing to pay a loan of over Shs2Bn which he had borrowed from him.
He is said to have fled Uganda after learning that Kurumira was hunting for him and since then he has been out of the public realm until recently when he resurfaced, this time round with businessman Suleiman Kabangala alias SK Mbuga’s ex-lover Leila.
