As you read this, some of the most popular pro-NRM Facebook pages are no more.
Less than a month after Ashburg Kato bragged on Facebook that he was behind the hacking of of Ghetto TV and other National Unity Platform (NUP) supporting pages, his official Facebook page that boasted of over 16,000 followers has been taken down.
Besides Ashburg Kato, other pages which were taken down include the ones that were being run by singer Catherine Kusasira, music promoter Andrew Mukasa aka Bajjo, who recently posted a video mocking Bobi Wine for sending his children abroad, that one of and outspoken blogger Isma Olaxess. For Isma Olaxes this will be hard blow to him.
In an interview with a Luganda TV station on Friday, the grey-bearded 56-year-old told the world that thanks to his new found fame mainly fueled by his online activities, his life had significantly changed for the better and he could afford to drive a good car after decades of struggling financially, but now that his page is down, he wonders what the next step is.
