As part of her Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), celebrated Ugandan female artiste Sheebah Karungi made a contribution of 1500 packs of Holic sanitary pads to the Uganda U-17 National women football team on Friday.
The U-17 national women team is in preparations for the final huddle of U17 Women World Cup qualification match against Cameroon.
The game is anticipated for 31st October in Uganda and a fortnight later a replay in Cameroon. The cumulative winner will book a place in India to the World’s Women World Cup.
Uganda out-smarted Ethiopian on 3-1 (away) to advance on a 5-1 aggregate score line. Uganda had won the first leg played in Kampala 2-0.
