Former Ghanaian President Jerry Rawlings is no more after he died in early morning on Thursday, according to family members, although details about his cause of death are still scanty.
The 73-year-old, who buried his 101 old mother last month, is said have been rushed to hospital one week ago and has been admitted at Korle Abu Teaching Hospital, where he breathed his last.

Rawlings, a former military officer, ruled Ghana from 1981 to 2001.
He was a mixed race, of Ghanaian-born Scottish and a Ghanaian native woman. He is survived by a wife and four children.
