The National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine is set to meet the Electoral Commission today December 2nd, 2020, over the rampant brutality being meted out onto his supporters by the police and military.
So far several Bobi Wine supporters have died and many others sustained injuries ever since he kicked off his presidential campaigns mid last month as a result of clashes with the police and military.
Following the endless brutality against Bobi Wine and his supporters that has been witnessed in several parts of the country , the E.C Chairperson Justice Simon Byabakama and his team are set to meet Bobi Wine such that he can air out his grievances.
Meanwhile, we have since learnt that security has deployed heavily along Jinja Road and around the E.C Headquarters ahead of Bobi Wine’s meeting.
