A heavily pregnant woman has threatened to commit suicide after reportedly being dumped by the man who impregnated her, whom she claims is an employee of K-FM.
In a desperate cry for help, Irene M. Namara, an expectant woman, took to Facebook on Friday night and posted a jaw-dropping message that has since left her friends and followers worried.
In her post, Namara revealed that she feels like death is coming to her and says she has been contemplating having an abortion for the last three months.
She goes on to write that much as she would want to carry the baby, odds are not in her favour.
Namara, who looks to be in her late mid-twenties, ends by appealing to anyone who knows James Peterson, a presenter at K-FM a radio station, owned under the Nation Media Group, to tell him that they would have had a beautiful baby he would be proud of.
On her profile wall, a clearly severely depressed Namara indicates that she works with Femme Forte.
A look at her recent post shows she has been struggling with other problems like grief after losing another person close to her.
Because of the shame that comes with having a child out of wedlock, girls from socially conservative homes feel pressure to formalize their relationship so as to avoid facing vast rejection, stigma and being a subject of gossip.
However, the alleged impregnator, James Peterson has since opted to remain silent about the scandal, by neither admitting or denying the allegations.
