Controversial Kampala Muslim cleric Sheikh Nuhu Muzaata is currently battling for his life at a top city health facility, where he was rushed over the weekend after complaining of severe stomach ache.
Close family sources revealed to this website that Sheikh Muzaata developed relentless stomach pains and when the situation worsened, he was rushed to hospital for quick medical attention, although his situation hasn’t improved since then.
However, we have since established that there is very tight security outside his hospital room whereby the police deployed heavily at the health facility and do not allow visitors to see Muzaata.
But the heavy deployment of police and denial of visitors access to Muzaata has left many of his close family members, friends and associates wondering why they are not being allowed to visit him.
This anomaly has left many of them murmuring that perhaps Muzaata could have contracted COVID-19 or worse been poisoned or his abdominal pains might have resulted from some foul play.
By press time neither his family nor the Muslim fraternity in Uganda had issued an official statement about Muzaata’s health condition, although we shall keep you updated.
It should however be noted that Muzaata is one of the staunch supporters of National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential contender Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, whom he often refers to as a God-sent Messiah to liberate Ugandans.
