Going by the trend, indications are that reggae music needs patient people.
Reports coming in indicate that UK based Ugandan reggae star Sam Waiswa has exhibited utmost patience until he compiled his debut reggae album titled ‘Lwaki’, which has taken him almost 4 years before it was ready for release.
We have learnt that Waiswa last week unleashed a single titled Namayanja off the album, which he has started promoting on different airwaves and other media platforms in Uganda and UK amongst the Ugandan community.
Our Moles reveal that the album was worked on by four different producers among them Jude Mugerwa who did the mixing and mastering.
The reggae singer last released a song titled ‘Kansabule’ three years ago.
Those who have listened to Waiswa’s reggae songs believe he is the next star from the diaspora who is a ‘Maddox Ssematimba’ in the making.
