Although there are people who still doubt the existence of the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, for some families it’s a source of great pain and anguish.
As you read this, family members and friends of Fred Mafabi, a Ugandan immigrant from Sironko District, who has been living in the UK for several years, are battling grief after jovial single father succumbed to Covid-19 on Monday November 23rd, 2020.
Shocked by the news of his untimely demise, Mafabi’s friends from all walks of life took to Facebook to mourn the political activist and football fanatic, who has since gone to meet his creator.
It should be noted that the Prime Minister of Britain Boris Johnson announced a second lockup in the United Kingdom early this month which will continue until December 5th, 2020, after cases of COVID-19 infections and death skyrocketed.
So far the UK has registered 55,436 COVID-19 deaths, out of 1.53 million cases of infection, without any recoveries.
