A group of yet to be identified activists today beat the tight security at parliament and managed to drop a piglet at the Eastern gate.
The piglet, which was painted red on the mouth and yellow on the back, was first seen by by-passers who shortly thereafter informed the police.
On seeing the squealing animal that was scampering from one direction to another, the police quickly swung into action, bundled it in a sack and took it to yet to be identified detention centre.
As you read this, a hunt for the activists who dropped the piglet at Parliament is already on such that they can be brought to book.
By press time however no activist group had come out yet to claim responsibility for having dumped the piglet at parliament.
