Be careful what you post on social media, you never know who is watching and might stir up trouble for you any time.
Those words might now be swirling in popular South African dancer’s Zondwa’s head after she received a call from South African Revenue Services less than 48 hours after she posted a video in which she is seen dancing around a car, as one of her friends in the background congratulates her upon buying an extremely expensive supercar.
It should be noted that a new Lamborghini costs between USD548,332 and USD616,518 in South Africa, so the revenue services scouts started asking how she could afford the ride and if she will dully pay its taxes once she acquires it.
A scared Zondwa, who recently joined Patriotic Party, a small opposition political party, quickly changed her mind about buying the car after receiving a call from the much feared taxi collectors.
Speaking about the sudden change of mind, her party president businessman Kenneth Kunene said; “Zondwa has decided not to buy a car because after she posted the video celebrating, she got a call from SARS requesting to have a meeting with her. She figured out it might have been because of the post so she then decided not to buy the car for now”.
It’s not clear if the businessman was the one going to pay for the fancy car or the controversial dancer who is loved and loathed for her skimpy outfits, was going to use her savings.
Zondwa has in the past admitted that she used to sleep with men she didn’t love just because she wanted to get money for food.
