Veteran singer Ronald Mayinja seems to be a man who can never keep his word and is currently oscillating from  one political  party to another.

Mayinja, who was until recently a member of presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine’s National Unity Platform (NUP) camp, has since crossed over to President Yoweri Museveni’s National Resistance Movement (NRM) party.

He has even taken his love for president Museveni to another level by composing and outing a campaign song in which he urges all Ugandans to vote for him in the 2021 general election.

The song titled song ‘Londa Nze’ is already doing rounds on local airwaves and has received a massive audience especially from NRM supporters and shortly after its release,  Mayinja wrote thus on Facebook;  “I’m for Museveni in 2021. He has done a lot of good things for our nation. I will vote for him until 2040. He’s got the vision for this country. He’s the only man who can lead Uganda to prosperity and transform the lives of the citizens, not these hooligans and ganja people who have no knowledge about leadership.”

He continued that; “NUP just makes noise and killing innocent people. They are actually very dangerous than Museveni. They don’t deserve any leadership position in Uganda. They are very confused and tough so murderous to manage the affairs of this country. They are very harsh and intolerant. Don’t vote for them bambi. We need our country under good people. Museveni is the amswer to Uganda’s problems

However, neither Bob Wine nor the NUP spokesperson Joel Ssenyonyo has come out to issue a statement about Mayinja’s unceremonious defection.
