If you thought that National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and his supporters being at the receiving end of police brutality was going to stop National Resistance Movement (NRM) supporters from criticising them, then you are in for a surprise.
As we head towards the January 14 election, it seems supporters from the two different camps will stop at nothing when it comes to criticizing and discrediting each other.
Barely a day after Bobi Wine and his supporters were teargassed in Mukono District, NRM supporting singer and Bobi Wine longtime rival Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool is at it again, criticizing him for defying the Ministry of Health guidelines on prevention of the spread of COVID-19.
For the second time in a row today, the ‘Wire wire’ singer used his official Facebook account to show how the NUP presidential candidate is stubbornly defying COVID-19 guidelines as the Electoral Commission looks on.
As expected, NUP supporters quickly responded to the singer by leaving rude comments.
However, NUP fans have in the recent past used photos of Bebe Cool during campaigns to demonstrate how NRM mobilizers like him, Catherine Kusasira and others are ignoring COVID-19 guidelines too.
