National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine has unleashed a new campaign song dubbed ‘Tulonde’, in which he urges all Ugandans to vote on January 14th, 2021.
In the song which Bobi Wine dedicates to his singing partner Ali Bukenya aka Nubian Ali, his bodyguard and several People Power supporters who are currently in jail, Bobi Wine lambasts the Electoral Commission and state security apparatus for oppressing him and his supporters.
He thus urges Ugandans not to succumb to any amount of intimidation or torture but go out in big numbers on the voting day to decide upon their future.
This one is dedicated to brother Nubian Li and all comrades in prison for no reason. We were blocked from campaigning but the music will now do the talking. This one is called #Tulonde and it serves as a reminder to all the voters in the remaining days. #WeAreRemovingADictator pic.twitter.com/jNOUtBeksM

Meanwhile, this comes at a time when a group of American and European journalists led by Bruce Afran have released a documentary about the brutality that has been meted out unto Bobi Wine and his People Power pressure group supporters ever since he joined Uganda’s politics.
In the documentary, the journalists, who also include Jeffrey Smith and others reveal that Bobi Wine has survived being assassinated three times and during these times members of his team have either been killed or fatally injured.
It is this documented evidence that Bobi Wine has since used to drag President Yoweri Museveni plus several other army and police officers to the International Criminal Court (ICC), where he wants them held responsible for crimes against humanity in Uganda.
