Byekwaso Takes Over As KCCA FC Head Coach

Morley Byekwaso is the KCCA FC manager for the next three (3) years!

This came after he entered into a mutual agreement with the KCCA FC Management early this week.

The revelation was announced by the KCCA FC Chairman Martin Sekajja, who said that they are glad to have a coach of his caliber and experience at the Club.

Ssekajja assured Byekwaso that he is to render  him the required support to ensure that they all succeed as a team.

The current Chairman, who replaced Aggrey Ashaba in 2019, made the remarks during a scientific ceremony at which coach Byekwaso was officially unveiled.

The gaffer has been featuring on interim basis for the closing part of the 2020/21 season after the Club parted ways with former manager Mike Mutebi in March.

Byekwaso, who is also a former KCCA FC player, will serve as manager from July 2021 to June 2024.

The announcement comes after all the technical members of KCCA FC run down their employment contracts at the end of June 2021.

He took over after Mutebi was sacked in March,  following a superb performance with the Hippos in the Afcon U20 Tournament

Byekwaso has served as an assistant manager of KCCA FC on three occasions; Under Matia Lule, George Nsimbe and Mike Mutebi.

In the next few days, Byekwaso, a former KCCA FC player is expected to name his technical team that he will serve with for the next three years.
