Celebrated Ugandan musicians Angella Katatumba and Daddy Andre are slated to release the video for the sizzling new collabo ‘Wendi’ in a few days from now.
Our Moles reveal that Daddy Andre and Katatumba have for the past few weeks shooting the video and after piecing everything together the artistes are ready to release the video for their song which has since gone viral on airwaves in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and other countries.
‘Wendi’, which can be loosely translated to mean ‘I’m there’, is a love song in which Daddy Andre and Katatumba reassure themselves about how they will always be there for each other.
Daddy Andre and Katatumba premiered ‘Wendi’ via Black Market Records on the eve of Valentine’s Day but the song has so far attracted over 117K views on YouTube within just a few weeks and still counting.
But besides trending on airwaves, YouTube and other digital music streaming platforms, Daddy Andre and Katatumba’s ‘Wendi’ is one of the most played songs at city bars, night clubs and restaurants nowadays.
It should be noted however that ‘Wendi’, which is the second collabo from the two artistes, follows their first one titled ‘Tonelabila’, which was premiered in 2020 and later became one of the greatest hits in the history of Uganda’s music industry.
‘Wendi’ was outed ahead of the release of Daddy Andre’s new Extended Play (EP) titled ‘Do’, which dropped last month via Black Market Records.
