Popular Ugandan dancehall artiste Mr. Eezzy, who became popular during the COVID-19 lockdown because of his song ‘Tumbiza, is hospitalized, battling for his life.
Sources reveal that Mr. Eezzy was rushed to a top medical facility after he was attacked by goons over the weekend, who robbed his phone, money and other valuables.
It is said that the thugs attacked Mr. Eezzy as he drove in his car heading to his crib in Makindye.
The goons attacked Mr. Eezzy by smashing the driver’s window with a sharp object that injured him on the head.
He was later rushed by Good Samaritans to a clinic for medical attention, after which he was transferred to a top city medical facility where he has since undergone skull surgery and is still battling for his life.
Born Eric Opoka, Mr. Eezzy is a talented dancehall who also doubles as a songwriter.
An artist who believes in his talent. Mr. Eezzy has recorded songs like; ‘Tumbiza’, ‘Abegume’, ‘Take it easy’, ‘Gini’ featuring Polite Mosko, ‘Kaimito’ featuring Liama and his latest single is ‘Nyapa Lule’.
Mr. Eezzy hit the limelight after he released ‘Kaimito’ featuring Northern region singer Liama, which propelled him to greater heights.
