Diaspora Ugandans Vow To Boycott Chameleone Music After He Performs At Gen. Muhoozi Birthday Bash

The days of singer Joseph Mayanja aka Jose  Chameleone performing at any concert outside Uganda seem to be nearing their end.

Word coming in from our Moles indicates that Ugandans in the diaspora have  decided to  boycott all future concerts and events at which Chameleone was slated to perform, accusing him of allegedly ‘betraying’ them by performing at Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kairenugaba’s birthday bash.

Chameleone was one of the artistes who performed at Muhoozi’s massive birthday bash which was held at the MTN Arena in Lugogo last Saturday.

Reports coming in indicate that Chameleone allegedly bagged a whooping   $10,000 (about Shs35,000,000) while the other artistes who performed at the show went away with Shs9,000,000.

However, Diaspora Ugandans have no kind words for Chameleone, who has always camouflaged around as an opposition politician.

It should be recalled that Chameleone contested for the Kampala Lord Mayoral seat in the past general elections under the Democratic Party (DP) card, a move that was later construed by many Ugandans to have been a stunt to keep him in the limelight.

Anyways, following his gig at Gen. Muhoozi’s birthday bash, diaspora Ugandans have since advised promoters and events organizers in the diaspora not to dare  book Chameleone to perform at any concert because they will not attend it.

The first event which Chameleone was to headline that Ugandans are set to boycott is ‘Harnessing The Power Of Diaspora Youth’, which is slated to be held in Boston, USA, between May 27 and 30th, 2022.

We are told that Ugandans in America have since vowed to boycott the event, with many of them advising him to go sing    for Muhoozi.
