After doing rehearsals for several weeks, Ugandan celebrated musician Sheebah Karungi is ready to thrill her fans at a maiden concert starting tomorrow, Friday December 9th to 10th, 2022, at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
During this long-awaited concert, Sheebah will take revellers through her musical journey by performing all their favourite songs live on stage.
Partiers are eagerly waiting for Sheebah to treat them to some of her greatest hits like ‘Muwomya’ Ft. King Saha, ‘Kisasi Kimu’, ‘Nkwata Bulungi’, ‘John Rambo’, among others.
This is slated to be Sheebah’s maiden concert ever since the ban on public gatherings due to COVID-29 restrictions was lifted.
It will also be her first biggest public event ever since she parted ways with former manager Jeff Kiwanuka aka Jeff Kiwa after they development irreconcilable differences.
What’s even most interesting is that Sheebah’s concert, which has been organised as red-carpet event, will be hosted by sexy TV personality Anita Fabiola, who is one of Uganda’s top brand influencers.
With Fabiola in the mix, revellers should expect to experience all the glitz and glamour they haven’t seen in a very along time.
Sheebah Karungi, born November 11, 1989, is a Ugandan musician, dancer and actress who debuted her acting career in Queen of Katwe as Shakira.
After quitting Obsessions, a dance group she joined in 2006, she rose to recognition upon the release of her hit single “Ice Cream”.
In 2014, she released her debut project Ice Cream, a five-track EP which did well commercially and led her to win back-to-back HiPipo Music Awards Best Female Artist in 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018.
She also won the Artist of the Year award twice, in 2017, 2018, and 2019 at the HiPipo Music Awards and has been nominated in various awards over the years.
