Renowned events promoter Ali Alibhai, the proprietor of Talent Africa, is smiling from ear to ear after his lovely wife Sylvia Namutebi was nominated amongst this year’s Mrs. World contestants.
Gorgeous Namutebi, who is a former Miss Uganda, is set to represent Uganda at the 2021 Mrs. World beauty pageant that will be held in Sri Lanka.
She emerged best following a selection process that was undertaken by the organisers of the beauty pageant, which will see the most outstanding model wife in the whole world walk away with a crown.
Unlike before, the pageant, for the first time since its inception, held virtual nominations to identify candidates that would best represent their respective nations at this international affair. These candidates were later on unveiled on the pageant’s official Facebook and Instagram pages.
Namutebi expressed her joy through an announcement on her social media pages where she said; “I enjoy working with children and the youth, helping them reach their full potential in various aspects of education, entrepreneurship or self-esteem and confidence building. I like to use my position in adding my voice to the under-represented to create real solutions to problems we face as a community.”
Namutebi was Miss Uganda in 2011 which led her to represent Uganda at the Miss World Pageant in the same year.
She was instrumental in reviving the Miss Uganda Pageant as the Miss Uganda Project coordinator for the years 2018 and 2019 during which she cemented her portfolio in the pageantry world.
She was nominated to contest in the Mrs. World beauty pageant because of involvement in numerous charity projects and using her position as Miss Uganda to uplift the lives of several afflicted Ugandans across the country.
