Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Epel Alupo, 47, who is the vice president, is set to introduce her new lover identified Peter Abeine.

Our Moles reveal that smitten Alupo is slated to introduced Abeine, who has been warming her nights for quite some time now,  at a private function that  her parents’ home in Oigo Imomwa village, Ongongoja sub-county, Katakwi district.

We have since established that Abeine is a Mukiga who hails from Kamwezi village in Kabale district, South Western Uganda, although his parents live in Kyangundu village, in Sheema county, while he is based in Kiruhura district.

Unfortunately however, Alupo’s father, George William Epel, who was a primary school head teacher, will miss the function because he was killed in 2003 by the Lord’s Resistance Army rebels led by Joseph Kony.

VP Alupo is a very hard working woman; she is seen in the village threshing rice in this picture

Her mother, Bernadette Epel, who is still alive, will be the main celebrant at the function.

It should however be noted that Alupo was some time back officially hitched to a top Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) officer identified as Capt. Innocent Tukashaba, although their love life came to an end after they developed irreconcilable love woes.

During their introduction ceremony Tukashaba paid Shs62M and several cows as dowry.

They later got married at a colourful wedding ceremony that was attended by several top government officials although their marriage didn’t stand the test of time.

Alupo is the ninth and current vice president of Uganda since 2021.

She is a Ugandan politician, educator, and former military officer.

She previously served in the cabinet of Uganda as minister of education between 2011 and 2016 and she is currently  the Katakwi District’s Women Member of Parliament.
