Like some security operatives have learned, enthusiastic opposition supporters are increasingly making it hard for human rights violators to go unpunished.

A few days after exposing Luuka DPC Frank Mwesigwa’s private life following his arrest of National Unity Platform (NUP) presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine, social media activists are at it once again, this time round sharing photos of a smartly dressed man who was snapped on Thursday wielding a machine gun in Kampala.

The photos of a youthful security operative, who has since been identified as Tabamuzigu Kantu Balam, were widely shared on social media and among them is one where he was snapped in company of Gen. Caleb Akandwanaho aka Salim Saleh, while in other snaps he is seen posing with other top government officials and Chinese investors.

In another photo Kantu, who looks to be in his mid-30’s, is seen smiling broadly as he flashes the NRM signature thumb while president Yoweri Museveni holds a yellow t-shirt that is emblazoned with his image.
