Horrible: Mobile Money Operators Shot Dead By Armed Thugs

By Ivan Mwine

The police in Eastern Uganda are hunting for armed thugs who shot dead two mobile money operators last week before stealing an unknown sum of money from them.

Sources reveal that the deceased identified as John Nkaabe, 35, and his brother Fred Bulago, 30,  were operating a mobile money shop and a Banking Agent business in Wairaka town, Jinja city when they were attacked.

Eyewitnesses reveal that the four attackers, who were armed with AK-47 rifles and were dressed on civilian rain courts, were driving in a white numberless drone van.

It is said the attackers went to the  shop pretending to be customers  but shortly thereafter put the two brothers on gunpoint before killing them in cold blood,

Shortly after killing them, the thugs grabbed all the money that was in the shop, quickly jumped into the white drone and drove off at rocket speed.

The police was later called to the scene to remove the  bodies which they told to hospital for postmortem before handing them over to the relatives for proper internment as the hunt for the killer thugs continues. By press time however, the police in Jinja City were yet to issue a statement about this gruesome murder.
