Thousands of Ugandans in London are set to resume endless partying following the total lifting of the COVID- 19 lockdown in the United Kingdom.
UK Prime Minister Borris Johnson announced last week that there shall be total lifting of the lock-down starting July 19th, 2021 , which will see a relaxation of all the restriction that had been put in place by the government to fight the pandemic.

Following the lifting of the lockdown, Ugandans are warming up for the first ever music gig since the pandemic broke out last year across the UK and other parts of the world, which will be headlined by celebrated Ugandan musician Iryn Namubiru.

Dubbed ‘Kulika Enyumba Dinne Party’, the gig, which has been organized by Xtra Touch Entertainment Ltd, shall be held on July 31st, 2021 at the Royal Regency Hotel.
The event which will be hosted by popular Ugandan comedian Afande Kerere and Nancy Kitaka as emceee, will feature acts from artistes like Fada Pest, Cas Cas,Dj Mac Pro, DJ Shady, DJ Giddie, among others.
We have learnt that the’ Kulika Enyumba Dinner’ Party, which has been partly sponsored by London Duuka, shall also feature thrilling performances from the renowned Sound Afrique Band, which will rock partiers from dusk till dawn with their legendary classics.
