Jeff Kiwa Buys Chameleone’s ‘Maoko’ Song For New TNS Recruit Pinky

Team No Sleep (TNS) boss Jeff Kiwanuka, popularly known as Jeff Kiwa, is doing everything possible to ensure that he promotes his new recruit Rahma Pinky, who replaced Sheebah Karungi.

Word coming in indicates that Jeff has since bought off singer Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone’s  ‘Maoko Na Maoko’ song which he released in 2006, such that Pinky can redo it.

The projection here is that since the song was recorded in Shona, and Swahili, languages that cut across several African countries, it will help Pinky penetrate the continent’s music industry very quickly if she redoes it.

It is not yet clear how much Jeff paid Chameleone for the song   but sources at Leone Island reveal that the TNS boss coughed several millions of shillings for the project.

We have learnt that he is even talking Chameleone into doing a collabo with Pinky, which he hopes will fast-track her budding music career.

It should however be noted that in a bid to avoid stiff competition with Pinky, Sheebah has since diversified from singing secular to gospel music and recently outed a song titled ‘Mukama Yamba’, which is her first gospel project.
