Ugandan celebrated musician Jose Chameleone, who was meant to perform alongside other famous musicians during this year’s Independence Day, will not be able to do so and to that effect, he has apologised to all his fans in the United Kingdom.
Chameleone was slated to perform at a concert dubbed ‘Uganda At 60’, which is to be held in the United Kingdom, at the Royal Regency Hotel in London, on October 8th,2022.
Besides Chameleone however, the concert will also feature other celebrated Ugandan musicians among them Daddy Andre, Lydia Jazmine and Geosteady.
However, due to unforeseen circumstances, to wit, delays in Visa applications, he will not be able to perform at the concert as scheduled, because of discrepancies in the organisation of the concert.
We have since established that whereas Chameleone is currently in Minnesota, USA, international courier company FedEx delivered his Visa to Memphis, a totally different state from from where he is.
This means that Chameleone didn’t get the Visa so as to process travel documents to the UK in time ahead of the Independence Day concert dubbed Uganda at 60.
It is for that reason that he has since issued an apology to all his fans in the UK for not being able to perform at the said concert.
However, our Moles reveal that the musician is in talks with the organisers of the concert to set another date date for him to perform and make good for the relagated concert, which was slated to happen on October 21st, 2022.
