Judiciary Speaks Out On Justice Gadenya  Health Condition, UPDF Airlifts Him To K’la

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has issued a statement about Masindi High Court Judge, Justice Paul Gadenya, who got involved in a very nasty accident on Monday morning, along the Masindi-Kampala Highway.

Justice Gadenya is currently hospitalized after his official vehicle, a Toyota  Prado  number UG 0781J collided head-on with a truck registration number UBH 831 at Bigando, along the Kampala-Masindi Road.

According the   statement by the Judiciary, the Judge,  his driver and personal bodyguard sustained serious injuries from the accident.

“Joint emergency services coordinated by the Judiciary, Uganda Police and the UPDF evacuated the judge and his team from the accident scene,” said Judiciary’s Permanent Secretary and Secretary to the Judiciary,  Mr. Pius  Bigirimana.

Judiciary’s Chief Registrar, Ms. Sarah Langa Siu, said the Judge and team were first briefly admitted at Kitara Medical Centre in Masindi for first aid before being airlifted to Nakasero Hospital in Kampala for better medical attention.

“The Judiciary would like to appreciate everyone who assisted to ensure that the victims of the early morning accident get timely medical attention,” said Ms. Langa.
