The Monarch of Buganda Kingdom Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II is reportedly battling for his life after developing kidney complications, although kingdom officials have preferred to keep this a top secret.
Our sources at the his palace on Mengo intimate that the Kabaka was a few days ago driven out of the country to Nairobi, Kenya, where he is reportedly bedridden at Nairobi Hospital undergoing specialised medical attention and is said to be on dialysis.

Our insiders reveal that Kabaka traveled with his younger brother Prince David Wasajja and Katikkiro Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga, plus a few his most trusted servants, who are currently tending to him.
However, we have learnt that Mayiga, Prince Wasajja and a few high ranking kingdom officials have since decided to keep the Kabaka’s worrying health condition a top secret from his subjects and the some members of the royal family, so as not to cause alarm in the kingdom.

It should be recalled that Kabaka Mutebi was last out in public a few days ago when he had gone to the Immigrations Department at the Ministry of Internal Affairs to renew his passport and or acquire and East African Passport and since then little has been heard from him.
The insiders however reveal that the Kabaka has been battling kidney complications for a long time, reason why he was advised by his medical personnel to often do physical exercise (Duyiro), so as to alleviate some of the pain.

Actually, the situation has become so worrying that several Baganda are getting concerned and have started posting messages on social media calling upon all stakeholders to either inform the kingdom about his whereabouts or update them about his health condition.
