Several locals in Entebbe municipality are in jubilation mood following the
transfer of former the area Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Hajji Noor Njuki Mbabali.
Njuki was moved in the recent reshuffles for RDCs and was replaced with Jackline Kakunda, who has since officially assumed office.
Moles reveal that several locals drunk bottles of liquor and partied till morning after they got news of Hajji Njuki’s transfer from Entebbe to Masindi district as the Deputy Resident District Commissioner.
Some locals, including those who ascribe to the ruling National Resistance Movement(NRM) but are sworn enemies of Njuki, say that the almighty God has finally answered their prayers by touching the
heart of the Ppresident, who eventually transferred Njuki to Masindi district.
Locals accused Njuki of double standards by siding with land grabbers
who they say have been rubbing shoulders with him.
At the time of his transfer, Hajji Njuki had fallen out with some NRM
leaders including Edrisa Figo Matovu, the Entebbe NRM spokesperson,
Mariam Nalwoga, the Entebbe Division B NRM chairperson, and Gracious
Mugabi, the NRM Youth mobilizer, among others.
Moles reveal that some locals have since finalized plans and preparations to throw a mega party at Entebbe Botanical Gardens to celebrate Njuki’s transfer.
