The Vice President Maj. (Rtd) Jessica Alupo Epel on Sunday finally paraded her hubby Peter Abeine, who hails from Western Uganda.
Alupo, who hails from Eastern Uganda, completed the intermarriage picture in Uganda by deciding to make Abeine her beloved husband, whom she is to stay with until death parts them.
She unveiled Abeine during a mass that was held at Nyabwina Church in Sheema District, which had been organised by the Archdiocese of Ankole Development Association (AMDA).
The couple received a blessing from Rev. Fr. Sabastian Muthukattil, the Parish priest of Nyabwina Parish, where he grew up.
Alupo officially introduced Abeine to her relatives and friends as the man of her life during a private ceremony that was held in April this year in Oigo Imomwa village, Ongongoja sub-county in Katakwi district.
Abeine hails from Kamwezi in Kabale district, South Western Uganda.
However, his parents shifted from Kabale several years ago and settled in Kyangundu, in Sheema county, formerly greater Bushenyi, although he is based in Kiruhura district.
The couple is however yet to officialise their relationship by walking down the aisle and be united in holy matrimony, although is not far away in the future, basing on the passionate love they are enjoying nowadays.
