The police are investigated a video clip which went viral last weekend, in which students of Lubiri High School were filmed romping away as they rode on a bus belonging to Midland College Kawempe.
According to the video that went viral on social media, some students are seen pulling rare dance strokes while others appear to be romping outright.
When the video circulated widely last weekend, the management of Midland College Kawempe came out and categorically stated that the students on the bus were those of Lubiri High School that had just hired the bus to take students for a trip to the Jinja Agricultural Show.
However, following the development, the Uganda Police have since picked interest in the matter and are investigating the scenario with the possibility of bringing the errant students and their teachers to book.

While addressing the press on Monday morning at the Police Headquarters in Naguru, police spokesperson CP Fred Enanga said that the police have already kicked off investigations into the matter.
“A task team headed by Commissioner Gender and Sexual Based Violence is actively investigating the incident where students were captured on camera performing erotic lap dances and inappropriate sexual behaviour,” Enanga said.
He added that; “The students were being transported in a bus that belonged to Midland High School. We have established that the management of Lubiri High School hired a school bus from Midland High School to transport a group of students to the Agricultural show in Jinja.”
Meanwhile, the management of Lubiri High School has since issued a statement rejecting allegations that their students engaged in sexual acts while on the bus.
The Management of Lubiri High School insists in their statement dated June 12th, 2022 that what actually happened was students dancing, not having sex.
