Celebrated Ugandan diva Winnie Nakanwagi, popularly known as Nwagi, has vowed to put up a thrilling performance during a massive concert that is to be held at the famous OVO Webley Arena, UK, dubbed Celebrating Africa, which is to be held on October 21, 2022.

Nwagi is scheduled to perform at the Celebrating Africa concert together with other international African artistes who include;

Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania, Sarkodie from Ghana, Vegedream from Ivory Coast, and Lojay from Nigeria.

Assuring her fans in the United Kingdom and other parts of the world who will attend the concernt, Nwagi posted thus on social media; “#CELEBRATINGAFRICA I’m gonna be representing Uganda 🇺🇬 my motherland 😍💃🏾 #21stOct2022 #OvalArenaWembley Come see 🔥Bby🤗 Don’t miss me lovers… My UK 🇬🇧 peeps come let’s root for ours😍🤗😘#BossEntertainment👊🏾”

It should be noted however that this concert eradicates allegations that were circulated on social media a few months ago by a little-known promoter only identified as Mama Africa, to the effect that Nwagi had been banned from performing in the UK, courtesy of a little known events promoter in London.

Early this year, Mama Africa, who  has since swallowed her words, claimed that she had sued Nwagi for not performing at her concert  and instead performing at another gig, yet she was the one who had booked and catered for her travel expenses to the UK.

She even claimed to have secured a ban from authorities banning Nwagi from performing at any concert in the UK again.

However, now that she is set to perform at the Wembley Arena, the promoter has no option but to coil tail and swallow her words, because this particular concert is to be held at the OVO Arena Wembley is one of the UK’s most legendary concert and events venues where no Ugandan artist has ever performed before.
