Jadon Sancho is still the number one target at United and there is still hope a deal can be struck despite Dortmund’s insistence the player stays.
Manchester United will table a £90m bid for Sancho next week in an attempt to prize the England star from Borussia Dortmund. United are set to launch a last-minute bid for Sancho – and are confident Borussia Dortmund will be forced to accept a cut-price fee. But Erling Haaland is confident that Jadon Sancho will stay at Borussia Dortmund despite interest from Manchester United.
However, information coming in indicates that there is a lot more work going on to secure an alternative to Sancho – although it’s all quiet on who those potential alternatives would be.
“One player who could be impacted by an arrival is Daniel James,” a source revealed.
“He wants to stay and fight for his place – but knows he will be pushed down the pecking order if Sancho or another player was to arrive,” the source added.
Players Linked With Move To Manchester United
Besides Sancho, here is a list of some other players likely to join Manchester United;

They are confident a deal for the Porto left-back can be struck soon. Meanwhile, Telles believes Porto’s asking price to Manchester United of about €20m (£18.3m) for his transfer is unrealistic, with the left-back conscious he is in line to be a free agent next summer.
