The minister for Gender, Labour and Social Development Hon. Frank Kagyigi Tumwebaze has no kind words for top telecommunications company MTN Uganda, because of their poor network these days.
According to the Minister, for over a month now, he has been facing problems with his MTN line and he wonders what could be the problem.
Tumwebaze is so irked by MTN’s poor network that he reached an extent of appealing to the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) to sound an alert to MTN to pull up their socks or rather network signals, such that they can save him the hell he is enduring.

“HEY, Is it me having a problem or there is indeed a problem with the service generally?? @mtnug @UCC_Official
What is going on? For a about a month now the quality of service is horrible? Dropped calls and all manner of interferences are becoming the order of the day!”
Well, it is not yet clear whether the managers of MTN finally heeded the Minister’s alert, but by the time of filing this story they had neither responded to his complaints nor issued a public statement about their network issues.
