MP Francis Zaake’s post about his new song

A collabo with veteran musician Omulangira Suuna aka O.S Suuna, Zaake’s song is already blaring on radio stations and public address systems in various parts of the country as the two work upon shooting the video.

We hear that Zaake intends to use the songs as his campaign slogan ahead of next year’s election, although it is not yet clear whether it will be endorsed by the Uganda Communications Commission  (UCC) to be played on local radio stations.

It should be noted that several politicians often use music as a medium to reach out to their supporters.

During the 2016 General Election President Yoweri Museveni and the National Resistance Movement (NRM) used the  ‘Tubonga Nawe’ song, which recorded by several musicians to rally support from millions of Ugandans.

Indeed several musicians, among them Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine, Joseph Mayanja alias Jose Chameleone, Hillary Kiyaga  aka Dr. Hilderman among others have since joined the political arena and are vying for seat in the 2021 election.
