MTN “Supu” advert actor James Eyangu found dead in his hostel days after graduating from Makerere University

Sad news coming in indicates that James Eyangu, the former President of the Makerere College of Veterinary Medicine, Animal Resources and Biosecurity (COVAB) was found dead in his hostel yesterday.

According to reports, Eyangu was found lying lifeless in his rented room in Kikumi kikumi around Makerere University when Police broke into the room after neighbours felt a strong smell coming out of it. Eyangu had been missing for days.

This comes only days after the deceased graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical Laboratory Technology of Makerere University last week during the university’s 71st graduation ceremony.

“On a sad note, COVAB announces the death of their former college President James Eyangu. James was found dead in his rented room in kikumi kikumi. James was one of the students who graduated with a bachelor’s degree of biomedical Laboratory Technology of Makerere University. The cause of the death is yet to be established and arrangements will.be communicated later,” the college communicated on social media.

It is not yet clear what led to Eyangu’s sudden death. Eyangu is remembered for having been the leading actor in an MTN advert over a year ago that ran on our TVs and radio stations for several months.
