While Mzansi agreed that musician Master KG deserved the Music and Influence Awards he’s been bagging, being awarded the Most Stylish SA Icon Award didn’t settle down well with lots of people on the TL  and  the singer as come out to address them.

The Limpopo born musician has been on the roll, bagging each and every music award that he’s been nominated for in the past few weeks and receiving support and commendation for each one until his most current win at the Annual Style Awards.

‘It’s more than a privilege for his musical achievements globally. Myself winning an SA Style Award is an honorary achievement in the music industry for making my mark and clasping people globally. It’s not about how I dress, I hope people understand.’ He wrote on Twitter, Thursday.

The winners of the 10 categories of the Awards were announced ahead of a COVID-19 conscious invite-only awards ceremony which happened in Sandton, SA.

The DJ cum musician isn’t the only person tweeps had an issue with; there were other people who questioned the categories of people who managed to bag some awards.

The ‘Jerusalema’ hit maker quickly got over the hatred and had to jubilate. Certainly the ‘too blessed to be stressed’ poster boy took to twitter to express his appreciation over being a nominee in Africa’s very Best Talent to compete for the Best African Act at the MOBO Awards 2020

The MOBO Awards are known to be UK’s biggest celebration of African music and culture. They will take place on December 9th and will be live-streamed for the very first time on YouTube.

Master KG has been nominated alongside Burna Boy, Davido, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid and Stonebwoy
