Next Media Services has contributed Shs100 million to the Church of Uganda to help reduce the debt incurred during the construction of Church House.
Recently, the Archbishop, Dr. Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu, asked Christians to contribute at least Shs60,000 towards clearing the Shs48 billion debt incurred during the construction of Church House along Kampala road.
In the letter written to the Archbishop, Kin Kariisa, the Chief Executive Officer Next Media Services, said the company is happy to continue supporting the Church’s activities, as it has always done.
“For this particular campaign, with consideration of the magnitude of the cause at hand as stated above, we are offering up to Shs100,000,000 (one Hundred Million Uganda Shillings) worth of advertising across all the Next Media Services platforms to the Church of Uganda as per our rate card catering for promotions, TV adverts, mentions, Squeeze Backs, and Digital support,” wrote Kariisa in a letter seen by this website.
As part of this offer, Kariisa said that the Next Media team will also support the Church in terms of media planning for both TV and digital.
“We cannot overstate our commitment to working with the Church of Uganda to further the development and overall betterment of our motherland, Uganda,” he said.
