Early on Tuesday morning, the Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, who is also happens the First Son of Ugandan president Gen. Muhoozi Kinerugaba, used his official Twitter account to tell presidential aspirant Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu that he cannot intimidate “them,” and that “they” will defeat him.
“I told you my young brother, that you can NEVER intimidate us. We are much stronger than you can ever imagine to be. If you want to fight, we will simply defeat you. We want peace! But if you attempt to fight us then bring it on!” Muhoozi tweeted.
Bobi Wine went ahead to be nominated and was arrested twice right after leaving the nomination grounds at Kyambogo University Sports grounds and later after being released, he has found time to reply to the General’s tweet.
“Only cowards and weak men boast of violence! You should be ashamed. Ours is a non-violent call for action. You know that in a free and fair election, your father the old tyrant would be no more,” Bobi Wine boldly stated.
He added, “This country belongs to Ugandans, not you and your father. You will soon understand that.”
This is not the first time the First Son and the People Power leader are exchanging verbal cyber blows.
In the past, Muhoozi told Bobi Wine’s People Power to stop wearing their signature red berets, saying that it is he (Muhoozi) who introduced it to the army and as we all know, the army and Police raided People Power offices a few weeks ago and seized almost every red attire that was there.
