Ugandan Musicians have always raked in millions of money on a weekly basis. However, when faced with a money or health problem, they rush to the public to beg for help. Now, singer Pius Mayanja alias Pallaso has also taken to the habit.
Through his Twitter account, the ‘Malamu’ singer begged his fans for money to help him raise 100 million to rescue his car from Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
“I need 100 million UGX to rescue my range rover from Uganda revenue authority, If you are my big fan, if you love and appreciate what I do and wish to help me rescue my car, please send your contribution,” He cried out.
The tweet was made last night but the “Malamu” singer has not received any significant amount of money yet as he has only posted screenshots of various people who have sent less than 10000 ugx each.
Pallaso’s cry comes just hours after Nigerian singer Davido asked his fans to send him money if they like his music and within just hours, he had already received 70 million Naira.
