Police Outs Names Of Officers & Civilians Injured In Kampala Terrorist Attacks

The Uganda  Police Force have released names of several people who sustained injuries during the Tuesday twin bombings that rocked Central Kampala.

At least six people are confirmed to have died on spot and 33 others sustained severe injuries after suicide bombers detonated explosives outside CPS, Kampala and Parliament.

Following the explosions, the police quickly responded to the situation and rushed the injured, who included civilians and security officers to Mulago National Referral Hospital for medical attention and some of them include the following; 

Police Constable (PC) No. 66832 PC Joseph Kairugara, Fred Katongole, resident of Katale – Nalumunye, Wakiso District, PC No.64015 PC Allan Ayebale, No. 50952 PC Andrew Kissa, No. 65945 PC Peter Eyotre, No. PC Catherine Akot, No. 66827 PC Bernard Wabwire, Silesian Akibua, No. PC Eunice Twongwire, No. PC Nicholas Muhumure, No.66825 PC Isaac Ekip, No. PC Mathew Adeun, No. 67821 PC Mimu Ssebunya, NO. 36244 PC Brian Ojera,  No. 67294 PC Denis Dhibaluma, No. PC Stephen Osmami, No. 61547.

Others are; “PC Doreen Birungi, No. PC Juliet Nasuna, No. 38942 PC Richard Ogwal, No. 64113 PC John Bosco Otai, No. 66187 PC Fiona Nakafero, Daniel Tingu (Security Guard), Perepetua Nakato, George Maseruka, and Pius Andrew Deo Ongora.”

Sources however reveal that there are three other unidentified victims in the casualty ward who  also sustained severe injuries and are in critical health condition.
