A group of men  who were defiling underage girls were arrested on Saturday night during a police raid on a brothel where they were indulging in reckless  and dangerous sexual acts with the juveniles.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police Deputy Spokesperson ASP Luke Owoyesigire, the raid was conducted after a tip-off from a Good Samaritan in Katwe that there was a man ferrying young girls from upcountry and hoarding them in one house, where men often came  for sex marathons.

On raiding the place, the police were shocked to find several men engaging in relentless sex sprees with juveniles, who were all arrested and detained at various police stations around Kampala as investigations go on.

Owoyesigire said thus in a statement he released shortly after the operation;

All suspects are currently detained at Katwe Police and Natete respectively, investigations are still on going in the matter.
