We are in the final matches of the 2020/21 Premier League season and different clubs are fighting for positions at the top so that they can qualify for the UEFA Champions League and Europa League next season, as well as others fighting to avoid relegation.

On Saturday, May 8, 2021, Chelsea beat Manchester City 2 – 1 at the Etihad Stadium thanks to goals from Marcos Alonso and Hakim Ziyech, while Rahim Sterling pulled one for the hosts as record scorer Sergio Kun Aguero missed a penalty. This win put Manchester City’s title celebrations on hold for at least another week.

Manchester United whose title hopes are hanging by the thread came from behind to beat Aston Villa 3 – 1 thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes who, yes, you guessed it right, scored from the spot, Mason Greenwood, and Edinson Cavani. Aston Villa’s goal was scored by Adama Traore.

Moving away from the top and going down to the bottom of the table, West Bromwich Albion were relegated from the Premier League after losing 3 – 1 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal’s goals were scored by Emile Smith-Rowe, Nicolas Pepe, and a wonderful freekick by Willian.
