With every match-day that passes, Manchester City continue moving closer to winning this season’s Premier League title. The Cityzens are now 10 points clear at the top of the table after beating Arsenal 1 – 0 last night at the Emirates Stadium in London.

This was Manchester City’s 18th consecutive win in all competitions, something that cements their brilliant run of form. The 2018/19 Premier League winners got the early goal through Raheem Sterling, who headed home Riyad Mahrez’s cross in the second minute.

On the other side of Manchester, rivals Manchester United returned to winning ways with a 3 – 1 win over struggling Newcastle United. The Red Devils, who are trying to play catch-up with run-away leaders City got the three points courtesy of goals from Marcus Rashford, Daniel James and Bruno Fernandes who scored a penalty in the 75th minute.

Before this, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men had managed to get only one win in five premier league matches.
