Prisons Warders’ TikToK Love Chat Breaks Internet As Gov’t Stakes Shs5m Bounty On Escapees

Two Uganda Prisons Services (UPS) warders whose TikTok love chat leaked on social media recently have broken the internet.

In the said TikTok  love chat, a female prison warder only identified as Aisha aka ‘Perishaiasha’, is seen engaging in a passionate chit-chat with a yet to be identified male prisons warder.

In their video that has since gone viral, the two officers, who were supposed to be on duty, are heard exchanging sweet nothings with each other as they both smile coyly, instead of attending to their duties.

The video however comes a few days after a gang of over 200 prisoners escaped from Sigila Prison in Moroto District.

The escapees, who killed one Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) soldier and injured prisons officers as they fled, are currently believed to be hiding in Mt. Moroto and surrounding areas.

We have learnt that the Uganda Prisons Services has since staked a Shs5M bounty on any of the prisoners who is arrested.

They have thus urged all Ugandans to help the police and its sister security agencies in tracking down these escapees or volunteering information that might lead to their arrest.

However, unconfirmed reports indicate that one of the female prisons warders, to wit Aisha, was part of the warders at Sigila Prison and that she is likely to face charges of negligence of duty.

A twitter accounts that purportedly belongs to Police Public Relations Officer (PRO) Polly B. Namaye tweeted thus; “According to our investigations on the Moroto Prison Break case, we have gathered evidence that one Prison warden “Aisha” was Tiktoking as the escape happened. She will be charged with negligence.”

Despite the widely circulated rumour,  Namaye is yet to come out and shed light on the matter. We shall keep you posted.
