Veteran Radio Simba presenter Omulangira Ndausi spent the best part of Monday sweating plasma after he was arrested over allegations of fleecing millions from unsuspecting Ugandan youth, who he promised bursaries at his institution.
Moles reveal that Ndausi, real name Peter Ndawula, was grilled for hours at Jinja Road police to record a statement against the allegations that had been filed by several youth.
It should be noted that Ndausi operates an institution known as Ndausi School of Media, through which he reportedly trains media practitioners.
However, sources reveal that Ndausi’s institution is yet to be accredited by the Ministry of Education and Sports as a genuine media training school.
But as he awaits the accreditation, Ndausi is already admitting students to pursue studies in various courses.
As he does so however, reports indicate that several youth have report cases at police that involve paying money to Ndausi’s institution but not receiving the educations services they paid for.
It is also alleged that Ndausi, together with others at large, are fleecing money from unemployed Ugandan youth purporting to secure for them jobs in America and other foreign countries without fulfilling their promises.
It is for that reason that Ndausi was arrested on Monday and spent hours being interrogated over the matter, before being released on police bond later in the evening.
According to the Moles, Ndausi denied the charges and was directed to report back to police when his bond expires. It should be noted that Ndausi, who is also a city events organizer, is a very close friend of musician Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool with whom he works under Gagamel Entertainment Limited.
