The long weekend that starts on Thursday evening because Friday is Uganda’s Independence Day, is set to have Ugandans attend several concerts lined up from the comfort of their homes, since public gatherings of merrymaking are still suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Saturday, October 10, 2020, the Club Beatz At Home concert returns with legendary reggae star Maddox Ssematimba Ssemanda, lined up to perform live alongside budding dancehall sensation Karole Kasita.
Fans of the two music genres, and generally fans of good music are going to be treated to Maddox’s timeless hits that have long been household names and hold permanent places on their playlists, performed live and streamed on Club Pilsner’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
Everyone should get ready to groove to ‘Nakatudde’, ‘Abato’ and watch ‘Omuyimbi’ do his thing on Saturday.
Dancehall star Karole Kasita’s music has also taken airwaves by storm around the country with songs like ‘Balance’, ‘Yaka’, ‘Binyuma’, and ‘Mwoto’ among others that are on constant rotation in Uganda’s happening sports and on radio stations. Her performance on the night is also one to look out for.
Club Pilsner sponsors the bi-weekly online concert that started during the COVID-19 lockdown period having stars like Jose Chameleone, Weasel, Lillian Mbabazi, Irene Ntale, and most recently Spice Diana grace it to give their online audience entertainment in the comfort of their homes.
