Sad: Daughter Of Gayaza High School Supremo Passes On A Week After Her Wedding

It is a sombre mood at the family of the Wabwiires After the tragic passing of their new bride.

Joan Namutebi, a daughter to Gayaza High School Supremo has passed on due to complications she suffered as she attempted to enroll on family planning. Joan was married to Derrick Wabwiire.

The couple tied the knot last Friday and went to the Women’s Hospital International and Fertility Clinic In Bukoto where they sought to enroll on birth control.

At the facility, the couple opted for an Intra Uterine Device -IUD to be inserted into her. It is also reported that before this procedure was carried out, she was asked to take enough water which she did.

However, moments later, Joan started feeling stomach pains which made her faint. She subsequently went into comma until Friday morning when she passed on.

Joan and Derrick Wabwire wedded last Friday. Shortly after their wedding, they visited the Women’s Hospital International and Fertility Clinic Bukoto for birth control measures.

“Very sad morning for us all. Just Friday last week you were a very happy bride at your wedding and today you have gone to be with the Lord.

According to police, doctors advised her to take some water, to which she obliged before an IUD coil was inserted in her. After the procedure, she started feeling pain in the stomach, developed a strong headache and fainted while in the hospital. She has since been in a comma until today morning when she died.
