Kampala is engulfed in untold grief following the death of city socialite Gilbert Baguma, who was popularly known as Baguma.
Baguma, who was also a former employee of the Red Pepper Publications, breathed his last on Tuesday afternoon according to close pals, after he developed sudden health complications.
“Bagzee reportedly developed high blood pressure and was rushed to Kampala Independent Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival,” renowned blogger Kakensa, who was his close pal said.
He added that; “His body is still at the funeral home awaiting a postmortem tomorrow (today).
We have since established that a funeral service shall be held at St. Andrew’s Church Bukoto at 3:00pm today February, 23rd, 2022 and later a vigil will be is at his home in Entebbe, during which burial arrangements shall be announced.
Baguma, who was known to many Ugandans in the entertainment industry and corporate world, was known for splashing money at city bars whenever he was in high spirits.
He was a religious partier who was known at almost all city hangouts by his nickname Bagzee and may his soul rest in eternal peace.
