Sad: Third-Year MUK Student Dies In Horrible Accident

Students at Makerere University are gripped in untold grief after one of their own perished in a nasty accident on Saturday that occurred in Kampala.

Sources at the University have since identified the deceased as  Vanessa Namuwaya, who died after getting  involved in a fatal accident at about 5:40Am  Saturday, along Garden City roundabout.

According to her fellow students, Namuwaya was a year three student pursuing Construction Management.

We have however established that Namuwaya was involved in the accident together with another student only identified as Davis, who was rushed to hospital for medical attention in critical attention.

It is said that at the time of the accident the two were heading attend practical lessons for survey field on traffic control.

Shamim Nambasa, the Guild President Makerere University, eulogized Namuwaya thus;

“It’s a very sorrowful morning for us as Makerere University as it dawned on us that two of our students were involved in a fatal accident at about 5:40am along Garden City round about.

One known as Namuwaya Vanessa pursuing Construction Management in year three and a resident of Africa hall has passed on and the other Davis, is in a critical condition

The accident happened as they were on their way going for practicals of survey field on traffic control

By the time of filing this story however, the traffic police were yet to issue an official statement about this nasty incident.
